All round protection: nonwovens for mattresses that meet the American flammability standard
Mattresses for the American market need to satisfy a demanding flammability requirement called CFR1633. For this specific application, Freudenberg Performance Materials provides customized high-tech nonwovens that are non-flammable and can be easily processed. Customers can choose between different qualities; from thin variants for viscose and latex foam core beds to thick, soft versions for bulky quilted bed designs. These products are compatible with all mattress production processes.

Efficient, reliable processes: thanks to vilmill® innovative milling underlays
Freudenberg Performance Materials offers high-tech materials that are used as an underlay between the workpiece and the milling table during the milling process. These nonwovens are equipped with a special adhesive layer that is activated during the milling process. At the same time, the air permeability of our nonwovens increases the performance of the vacuum table. Thanks to these properties, the workpiece can be optimally fixed to and removed from the table during the milling process. In this way, these innovative milling underlays increase efficiency and improve process reliability.
